Edit: I came back another day and they were opened. Store is fine. v2y Original: I came today wednesday at 12pm lunchtime and they were closed, gates down. What happened? Waste of time.

I went to this deli to place my order and when paid I noticed on my receipt that I was being charge fee on my debit card, that's illegal! You are only supposed to do a subcharge fee if it's a credit card, not debit cards. I also let the person know that's illegal... Please make sure you check if you're paying with a debit card and I also feel that with time the quality of a sandwich went downhill along with their customer service.

This is my go to sandwich shop. I've been going to them for years . The owner and workers are always pleasant. The food Is always deliciously satisfying.

We found this little corner deli while visiting the Sacred Heart Cathedral nearby. A classic "neighborhood" place. It seemed to be very popular with the locals. The sandwiches were excellent. The prices were very reasonable. And the staff is very friendly. Highly recommended!

This is one of the best Taylor egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches you can get in Newark! Its so good there's a crowd sometimes. This picture doesn't do justice to how good this sandwich tastes.
